Yamaha kept the cost do. Wn (no active fuel gauge, single disc in the front, etc.). But the basics are as solid as a rock. The bike handles perfectly and has more than enough power (certainly for this'd-sizries rider). I've owned and ride dozens of machines over the last 45 years. Many faster, many with more pulling power, but I honestly don't recall a bike that i gauged to be a better value. Stock, no need for anything other than a rider that likes to eat up miles.
