This 1956 Bianchi Mendola is was built by the same manufacturer known for bicycles today. This one appears to be in exquisite shape, and the signature tank color is actually quite desirable. Find it in Southern California. Edoardo Bianchi began building bicycles in Milan in 1885, and by the turn of the century was producing his first motorcycles.

During the late 1920s, Bianchi produced significant racing motorcycles. If you’re interested in competing in a Moto Giro even, this could be just the bike you’re looking for. The seller notes that this was exactly his intention, but major surgery has forced him to put this bike up for sale. It’s tough to be 100 percent certain, but it looks as if this bike is the same 1956 Bianchi Mendola that was previously sold by online Italian bike parts purveyor Moto Guzzino.

If it’s the same machine, it was on offer there for $3,995, and the site also has a second Mendola for sale for $2,995, albeit in a less desirable color. For the serious collector, the bike also comes with its original registration paperwork, and its original Italian registration tag. A sweet bike which unfortunately doesn’t appear to be getting the attention it deserves.
