The Biology midterm consists of questions from each of the four major units. After the exam, the Biology teachers review the outcome and set a curve for the exam. Since the academic exam differs from the honors exam, the final curve on the exam also differs between the 2 courses. Typically the exam accounts for about 15-20% of the fall semester grade.

Each exam takes approximately 1-1/2 hours to complete. Students should study from the work they completed throughout the course of the year and review the curriculum outline.

Make note cards, re-write your notes, and go over the material that you had the most difficulty with.

Also, pay close attention to the chapters with higher percentages. Study those chapters first.
